2024-25 AVB HOCKEY DIBS

• Apple Valley/Burnsville Hockey Association 2024-2025 DIBS Policy DIBS policy for the 2024/25 season: • All families are required to complete 10 hours of DIBS for the season. • Families not completing their DIBS may be charged $50 per unfulfilled hour, which will be reviewed throughout the season by the board and make a final determination on required payment. • Traveling head coaches will receive the full 10 hours of DIBS. • Traveling head coaches will also receive up to 15 DIBS hours to allocate to Assistant Coaches or Managers, amongst up to 3 allotments. • Team Managers will receive 5 hours of DIBS for the season. • DIBS cannot transfer to/from other Associations. • Assistant coaches for teams with a head coach from another Association will receive 5 hours of DIBS. • Mite Level Coordinators will determine DIBS distribution for Mite staff. • The Board will issue as many DIBS as possible throughout the season, with as much notice as possible, to ensure all families have the opportunity to fulfill the requirement. • For on-ice shifts, volunteers under 18 are required to wear neck guards, helmet, gloves and skates.
