NEW TO HOCKEY OR THE APPLE VALLEY BURNSVILLE HOCKEY ASSOCIATION?

We offer four different tiers to cover kids from Pre-K to 3rd grade (between 4 and 9 years old). Practices are on Saturdays and Sundays from late October to late February/early March for House Mites. Mite Plus/U8 is an optional traveling hockey component in addition to the House Mite program.

Attendance Area: Minnesota hockey associations are organized based upon the High School attendance areas. AVBHA players must live in the Apple Valley High School or Burnsville High School attendance area or open enroll to an Apple Valley or Burnsville feeder school.

First Year Mite Fees:

• AVBHA registration fee is waived
• You will need to pay a  USA Hockey fee that ranges based on birth year between $15 and $70.
• You will receive a Westwood Sports equipment voucher for a basic pad set (helmet, chest, elbows, gloves, hockey pants/breezer, and shins).  

Returning Mite Fees:

• AVBHA registration fee is $150 for returning Boys Mite (2nd & 3rd grade)
• AVBHA registration fee is $100 for returning Boys Mini-Mite (1st grade & younger)
• AVBHA registration fee is $100 for all returning Girl Mites
• You will need to pay a  USA Hockey fee that ranges based on birth year between $15 and $70.

The AVBHA Registration Fee includes: registration, ice time, jersey and socks for the regular season.

We will once again offer a supplemental traveling program called Mite Plus. This program is in addition to the regular Mite season and has additional costs.
