Get ready for an exciting night of women's hockey as our AVWH team takes on Farmington at the Apple Valley Sports Arena on Friday, January 5th, starting at 5:00 pm. It's Youth Night, and we want our budding athletes to shine! Wear your AVB jersey proudly, and you and your accompanying parent will enjoy free admission to witness the thrilling on-ice action. Valkyries 10UB1:
- Brooke Hindal dominated with a shutout against Cottage Grove on December 16.
- Continuing the streak, the team secured another impressive 8-0 win against Lakeville on December 17.
- Kenleigh Clardy showcased her skills with an outstanding 4-goal performance.
Bantam B2 Eagles:
- Undefeated in Duluth's Lake Superior Classic, the team clinched the championship by defeating Woodbury Royal 2-1.
Bantam A Eagles:
- On December 9, the Bantam A Eagles, led by goalie Charlie Scanlon, secured a district game shutout with a 5-0 victory against Rosemount.
- Maintaining the momentum, the team achieved another district game shutout (1-0) against West St Paul on December 16, with a last-minute goal by Marcas Spratt, assisted by Jack McNeill.
- The winning streak continued with a 4-0 victory against Rosemont, marking two consecutive district game shutouts.
