BVTC CLEAN-UP DAY

Mark your calendars because it's time to spruce up our Burnsville Training Center! Join us for BVTC Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 4th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

DATE: Saturday, May 4
TIME: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
DIBS: available in 2-hour blocks - Sign-Up now
WHAT: Sweeping, sorting, stacking, and a little heavy lifting involved (and plenty more to do if you are not able to lift heavy items), so wear old clothes. Bring your leaf blower & broom, too, if you've got one!
WHO: Any AVB members and players aged 13 and up.
WHY: It's time to clean out storage areas, move items to the dumpster, and freshen up BVTC after a busy season!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME: DIBS credits, community building, as well as snacks/refreshments once we're done.

This is a great chance for families who didn't meet their DIBS requirements for the 23/24 season to catch up. And for those who already met their DIBS, we'll credit them to next season's requirements.

Let's make BVTC shine together! Sign up for a shift and lend a helping hand.

IT'S CARNIVAL SEASON

Get ready for Elementary School Carnival Season! It's a golden opportunity for your kids to share their hockey love with classmates! AVBHA is hitting up our AVHS feeder elementary schools with games, prizes, and hockey buzz. But we need YOU! Reach out to Ginger Lemke to get involved (DIBS rewards await!), or lead the charge at your child's school.

Echo Park: Thursday, May 9, 5:30-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 5:00-8:00)
Southview: Friday, May 10, 4:00-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 3:30-8:00)
Cedar Park: Friday, May 10, 5:30-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 5:00-8:00)
Westview: Friday, May 17, 5:00-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 4:30-8:00)

Why it's important: Let's make these carnivals a blast by engaging kids with games, prizes, and introducing them to hockey! Volunteers, be ready to spread hockey joy, encourage participation, and share why you love the game. Let's create smiles, memories, and future hockey players!

HEY MANAGERS! HAVE YOU RETURNED YOUR TEAM iPADS?

Attention Managers! If you haven't yet returned your team iPad, you can do so this Wednesday night at AVTC. Ginger Lemke will be there from 3:30-6:30, working on carnival prep and more, so drop by and bring those iPads in.

For all other members, if you have anything needing drop-off or pick-up, this is a perfect opportunity, as Ginger plans to be there weekly.
