BVTC CLEAN-UP DAY THIS SATURDAY

THIS SATURDAY, May 4 is the day! And there are still quite a few DIBS spots open. Sign up today to help spruce up our Burnsville Training Center! DIBS sessions are in 2-hour blocks, but if you can only make 1 hour work, we’ll take it! Just let us know when and we’ll sign you up.

DATE: Saturday, May 4
TIME: 9:00 am-1:00 pm
DIBS: available in 2-hour blocks - Sign-Up now
WHAT: Sweeping, sorting, stacking, and a little heavy lifting involved (and plenty more to do if you are not able to lift heavy items), so wear old clothes. Bring your leaf blower & broom, too, if you've got one!
WHO: Any AVB members and players aged 13 and up.
WHY: It's time to clean out storage areas, move items to the dumpster, and freshen up BVTC after a busy season!
WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME: DIBS credits, community building, as well as snacks/refreshments once we're done.

This is a great chance for families who didn't meet their DIBS requirements for the 23/24 season to catch up. And for those who already met their DIBS, we'll credit them to next season's requirements.

Let's make BVTC shine together! Sign up for a shift and lend a helping hand.

CARNIVALS START NEXT WEEK

Get ready for Elementary School Carnivals starting next week! We're counting on your help and excitement to bring some hockey fun to the kids.

Echo Park: Thursday, May 9, 5:30-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 5:00-8:00)
Southview: Friday, May 10, 4:00-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 3:30-8:00)
Cedar Park: Friday, May 10, 5:30-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 5:00-8:00)
Westview: Friday, May 17, 5:00-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 4:30-8:00)

Why it's important: It's a big deal because we're igniting kids' passion for hockey! As volunteers, we get to spread the love, pump up excitement, and maybe even discover future hockey heroes. Let's make memories, share laughs, and turn these kids into lifelong hockey fans!

AVTC DROP-OFF POINT

Attention Managers! If you haven't yet returned your team iPad, you can do so this Wednesday night at AVTC. Ginger Lemke will be there from 3:30-6:30, working on carnival prep and more, so drop by and bring those iPads in.

Starting now, you'll find Ginger at the Apple Valley Training Center every Wednesday night, gearing up for upcoming events. It's a great opportunity for managers, parents, and anyone else to swing by for drop-offs or pick-ups. Just a friendly reminder, it's not an unsupervised drop-in for kids; it's more of a chance for adult members to connect and exchange items before and after the season.
