CALLING ALL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARENTS

Exciting news! We've been given the green light to attend the Burnsville Elementary School carnivals, but we need your help to make it happen!

We're looking for one family from every Apple Valley and Burnsville elementary school to be our liaison and represent AVBHA to help introduce hockey to more kids. This role will fulfill your DIBS hours for the upcoming season, starting now at the Elementary School Carnivals throughout the remainder of this year and into next.

If you're interested in being our superhero at your child's school, please reach out to Ginger Lemke ASAP.

This week, the carnivals are at Echo Park, Southview, and Cedar Park in Apple Valley, and 2 potential carnivals in Burnsville IF we can find the extra help.

Our most urgent need right now is for the Cedar Park Carnival on Friday night from 5:00-8:00 pm, so if you can help, we'd greatly appreciate it!

Let's spread the hockey love together!

COME AND HELP US AT YOUR SCHOOL CARNIVAL

Elementary School Carnivals are gearing up, and we're ready to make a splash! Swing by our booth and say "hi" at your elementary school, or better yet, dive right in and join the fun by volunteering with us! We're on the lookout for some awesome helpers to spread the hockey love, whether it's helping kids shoot pucks, spinning the prize wheel, or chatting with parents and kids about all things hockey! Shoot Ginger Lemke an email if you're up for the challenge! Let's make these carnivals the talk of the town!

Echo Park: Thursday, May 9, 5:30-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 5:00-8:00)
Southview: Friday, May 10, 4:00-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 3:30-8:00)
Cedar Park: Friday, May 10, 5:30-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 5:00-8:00)
Edward Neill: Thursday, May 16, 5:00-7:00 (volunteers needed from 4:30-8:00)
Westview: Friday, May 17, 5:00-8:00 pm (volunteers needed from 4:30-8:00)

Why it's important: these events are a big deal because we're igniting kids' passion for hockey! As volunteers, we get to spread the love, pump up excitement, and maybe even discover future hockey heroes. Let's make memories, share laughs, and turn these kids into lifelong hockey fans!

AVTC DROP-OFF POINT

Attention Managers! If you haven't yet returned your team iPad, you can do so again this Wednesday night at AVTC. Ginger Lemke will be there from 3:30-6:30, working on carnival prep and more, so drop by and bring those iPads in.

You'll find Ginger at the Apple Valley Training Center every Wednesday night, gearing up for upcoming events. It's a great opportunity for managers, parents, and anyone else to swing by for drop-offs or pick-ups. Just a friendly reminder, it's not an unsupervised drop-in for kids; it's more of a chance for adult members to connect and exchange items before and after the season.
