We’ve got a jam-packed and thrilling week coming up! We're on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers for Burnsville's Party on the Plaza this Thursday—be part of the excitement and have a blast! Make sure to peek at our training center hours, sign up for our Summer Training Programs (STP), and join the awesome Summer Skills Sessions with Joe Prouty. We’ll have a shooting station at the Party on the Plaza event THIS THURSDAY from 5-9 at Nicollet Commons Park. Stop by to show off your shooting skills, spin the prize wheel and bring a friend to learn more about our hockey programs. Or sign up to volunteer and join the fun!
The event features live music, delicious food trucks, market vendors, and community booths. There will be games and activities for all ages, including ramps, puzzle races, crafts, and yard games.

Hey Eagles and Valkyries! Ready to have a blast and spread the hockey love? We need YOU to help us rock our booth at the Party on the Plaza events! This is your chance to introduce hockey to kids and their parents with fun activities and great conversations (AND earn some DIBS towards next season!)

We'll have a shooting station, a prize wheel with hockey trivia, and flyers for parents with all the info they need. Here’s what we need:
Adult/High School Volunteers (need 1-2 per event):
• Hand out flyers and chat with adults about our awesome hockey association.
• Answer general questions about our programs and registration.
• Help manage the booth and keep the good vibes flowing.
Youth Volunteers (need 3-4 per event - must be age 12 & up to earn DIBS):
• Talk to kids and have them come over and shoot a puck at our booth
• Help kids shoot pucks into the net and cheer them on!
• Encourage kids to give hockey a try and share why you love the game.
• Help with the prize wheel, hand out cool prizes, and make it a fun experience.
This is your chance to make a difference, meet new friends, and have a ton of fun! Let’s show everyone how amazing hockey is and grow our community.

Coach Joe Prouty is back this summer to help you hone in on your skills!
This is FREE to all AVBHA Members in the U10/Squirt, U12/Peewee, U15/Bantam & Jr. Gold age levels.
This is meant to be a drop in session for kids to hone in on their skills that don't want the commitment of a AAA program or summer camp.
If you're free on a Monday or Tuesday night and want to get skilled up attend a session or 2 or 3 or 4 with Coach Prouty!

The new neck guard rule, deeming every player 18 years old and under, now including high school players, goes into effect August 1, 2024. ALL players will need to wear neck guards during practices and games.
